Upper East Side Hotel, Woodstock, Cape Town, South Africa
HERS-SA will be hosting its second mini-ACADEMY in Cape Town from Sunday 15 April to Wednesday 18 April 2012. The programme has been designed to provide a series of highly interactive workshops to build the critical skills of women working in higher education. Four workshops are offered to boost participants’ leadership and performance capacities and to support their career development aspirations as women working in the higher education context.
The three and half day mini-ACADEMY programme has been carefully crafted to develop the competency levels of delegates in four core areas:
- Mapping Leadership Development
- Engaging Individual & Institutional Diversity
- Understanding the Higher Education Environment
- Planning & Leading Change
The mini-ACADEMY will also provide invaluable networking opportunities with other women in higher education and as well as access to role models. Refer below for the Programme, more information on workshops being offered and bio-sketches on the facilitators.
Applications to attend this event are only open to HERS-SA alumnae who have previously attended the seven-day HERS-SA ACADEMY.
Registration for the HERS-SA mini-ACADEMY is only available to forty delegates and, as places are limited, early registration is strongly encouraged. The mini-ACADEMY fee is R6 000 + VAT R840 = R6 840.
The HERS-SA mini-ACADEMY will take place at the Upper East Side Hotel in Woodstock, Cape Town.
